  • Social Media: Your first audience is right on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or X and for free.

  • Communication: For email use Gmail. For meetings use Zoom. For Project management, you can use Trello or Notion.

 

Test before you invest

Instead of spending time and money creating a product no one wants, test your idea first.

  • Create a buzz around your service or product through social media posts

  • Create a landing page and have a button for them to click and go on a waitlist.

If people show real interest, then that's your green light to invest time and money in that product or service.

You'd be surprised how many people are willing to help, but you have to ask.

 

Reinvest What You Make

When the first dollars roll in, don't splurge. Reinvest them into what will grow the business:

  • Ads or outreach

  • Tools that save you time

     

Many people never start their own businesses because they think they need thousands of dollars to launch. However, some of the most successful businesses in the world started in garages, dorm rooms, or coffee shops with no outside funding.
